As many of you know I was issued a challenge by Sonia Smith Lindner to see who could grow the BIGGEST tomato. Those following know that I immediately bought seeds from the Brurpee company and planted them in the Erin Davis Smith Heath Smith greenhouse. I then called upon my farming friend Craig Sforza to supercharge my garden with Veronica Moore Sforza manure in which to grow the special plants. Well the results are beginning to roll in. The first (and not necessarily the BIGGEST) tomato is shown here on the right held by Granddaughter Eloise weighing in at 1 1/2 pounds and 5 1/4 inches wide! I submit this entry to Judge Karl Lohr as my preliminary entry.
