As many of you know Im a huge fan of natural cleaners and saving - TopicsExpress

As many of you know Im a huge fan of natural cleaners and saving money in the process. A friend posted a video of someone making baby wipes, using paper towels, I watched the video great idea! Looks fantastic and the process makes convenient grab and go wipes. But I dont have a baby..... I DO however use the heck out of those Clorox/Lysol wipes, but Sweet mother of Pearl, they are EXPENSIVE! Seriously, break freaking the bank expensive. One tub is like 30 wipes... thats like one bathroom cleaning! But theyre so handy and effective, I do it anyways... I even tried buying in bulk and sure I save a couple of bucks but still crazy expensive. So I set out to find a better alternative. There are lots of recipes for a cleaning solution that will clean and disinfect just as well, if not more so. The problem? They all say cut up an old tshirt and wash the wipe aftera few uses. Ugh, no thanks! Way too much work and Im grossed out by using the same rag for cleaning over and over, dipping in the same solution... (its just gross) I could wash after every use, but hows that convenient?! Not to mention lots of water and dryer sucking up tons of energy. I much prefer just tossing the wipe when Im done. So why not combine the baby wipe with the disinfecting wipe and use paper towels? But are paper towels okay to use? Wont they break down sitting wet? Will they just fall apart? Will it actually be ok? So I research and research and the answer is theyre perfect! People are raving over paper towels used as wipes. AWESOME SAUCE!! I still have some Clorox wipes to use up, but Ill be giving this a try soon and Ill post my results.
