As many of you know, in the late fall God called Kevin & I to adopt a young boy from Bulgaria! At the time, we had just purchased the farm and our thoughts were, why now, God? You know we cant afford to do this right now. Through prayer and multiple blessings, God has shown us repeatedly that this was His plan and If we were obedient, He would provide!!! He has blessed us in so many ways through so many people!! Even total strangers!! An awesome team of ladies have joined together and planned fundraisers! I dont know what I would have done without my G4 sisters!!! We have one last fundraiser on May 10th at the farm!! One of the things weve learned about Gideon is that he likes to plant things so a Family Fun Day at the Farm seemed like an ideal choice!! We are kicking that event off with an online Silent Auction starting today!!! Thank you so much to all the generous donations to the auction!! Weve got a lot of great things including artwork from local artists!!!! I dont know why God chose Gideon for us or what His plan is for Gideons life! What I do know is that through this adoption process, God has shown me repeatedly the generous hearts of friends, family & strangers and God has taught us to trust completely in Him to provide!!! I cant wait to tell our little boy how much he was loved by everyone before he was ever met!!!
