As many of you know, my musical ability amounts to playing the stereo and attending concerts. My wife on the other hand plays 90% of all the instruments she teaches. Additionally, she specializes in 5th grade beginning band. This starts with helping each kids instrument selection, to putting them together, and of course teaching them how to play them. Her only rule is no kid in band sits on the bench, they all must play. Given that, my recollection of beginning band is hot cross buns and row row row your boat. Here is Jans 1st concert of two DIFFERENT beginning bands that she teaches this year. One lesson a week, 4 weeks a month, starting 3 months ago. Approximately 12 lessons. I cant say proud enough!!! (Sorry for the break in video, my phone keeps ringing - love my clients.)
