As most know today is a very special, happy but sad day for my family and I as its my daughter Cheanelles 15th birthday. We were blessed to have had her for the 2 years God lent her too us and Im so greatful I had her at all but losing her has been very heartbreaking, painful and devastating on every aspect of life but today my beautiful daughter sent me a beautiful and unexpected gift of reassurance that yes weve gone through hell and back since this journey began and yes Ive lived, done and said things that make me feel ashamed and more hurt , however noone knows where grief, anger and pain will bring them for each journey is different and unique and its easy to stay focused on the whos, whats and wheres of mistakes instead of the courage and strength it took for me to get here today for I constantly doubt myself, my hard work or lack there of but above all I never feel like I do enough for others after all thats been given to me in my times of despair. Today that changed (even if just for today) my small acts of paying it forward was acknowledged and although anything I do is never for the recognition or praise , it felt good to know your appreciated so thank you Cynthia Caron, Mary Vitt and all of the LostNMissing team for all you do for families with missing loved ones, your all amazing and truly selfless. Thank you for making me smile but most of all of reminding of how far Ive come ♥
