As most of you know Brian has been without a job since December. Last year he was off around 6 months out of the year. By the grace of God we have managed to make it thus far. I am so thankful to our families and friends that have helped us somehow along the way. I just recently applied for assistance from the state and was turned down except for being eligible for a Medicaid card. Not eligible to feed my family but eligible to go t o the doctor and make sure I am well so that I can continue to work obviously. This issue pops up from time to time on fb and I truly feel for the working class people that are continuously being done this way. But this time its personal! I am so truly sick and tired of watching people beat the system and knowing exactly what to do and say to get everything they can from tax payers dollars. I see it every single day. I am sick right now and I drag myself to work praying every step of the way that I can just make it through the day. I have worked somewhere since I was 16 years old and the state is telling me no while the lady down the atreet doesnt work due to a felony and appears to get anything she wants from the state including repairs for her vehicle. I am sick of it. I am sick of Brian digging coal for our state and when he needs something in return he is refused because I make too.much money!!! I am a secretary for crying out loud!! How much is too much?? Regardless.....if a working class citizen is out of work, then they should be eligible for any and all assistance. WE THE PEOPLE are the ones that pay for it for crying out loud. Just tired of trying to have a little something in life. Prayers needed and appreciated!!!
