As most of you know, I get through every situation with a laugh. Heres one for you... We went to the hospital today to see my mom. She was resting so peacefully, as we arrived in between the carousel of visitors. Jayda, my 12 year old daughter, went to my mothers side and whispered in her ear, Gram, I love you. My mom seemed to cracked a smile, although she continued to rest. Jayda felt the warmth with the rest of us and immediately took it a step further, Can you give me the recipe for the potato salad?? My mom was instantly rejuvenated and snapped back, Girl, youre about to get a whipping! LOL. I guess I cant fault my child for trying. Mom was still sharp if even for a hot second today.
