As most of you know I have been not only fighting a battle with breast cancer for almost 4 yrs but also fighting a loosing battle for almost 2 yrs with finding health insurance for my daughter. As I quickly found out the state of AZ will not allow a minor to be insured alone and with my medical history no one would even touch me. I wrote letters to the Governor and mayor only to never to hear back. I not only was turned away for any help from our wonderful welfare system but also thro organizations like Susan G Komen . All the lies and empty promises they gave me constantly leading me on so I wouldnt give them bad publicity during the month of Oct. Soooo glad they have their priorities straight! And can you believe I was told by the lady on the phone when applying for the kids care program .....well honey unfortunately you are the wrong color and dont have enough people living under your roof REALLY!!???! WOW!!! For the past 4 months I have been dealing with all the countless lies involved with good ol OBAMA care act and reform....... I could sit on here typing for hours all the empty promises and hidden agendas and still not uncover them all!!! Its very unfortunate that my beautiful ,loving , and loyal daughter had to be caught in the middle of this. Every week I worked to fix this problem spent countless lunch breaks on the phone and researching only to be led down that same dead end road. Until yesterday after much struggle and lots of tears I FINALLY bought a policy for my daughter!!! I waited 3 mos to hear back from someone dealing with Obama care and can you believe with in hours after buying her a policy I received my first phone call asking if I had applied and was still seeking assistance!!!!! I laughed and said yes I was for almost 2 yrs but as of a couple hrs ago I am no longer in need of your lies and false hope. You see a mom NEVER EVER gives up and ESPECIALLY a survivor!!!! And Faolan was my SOLE MOTIVATION and INSPIRATION for fighting both battles!!!! After all ...... She was my co survivor and took care of me when I was battling radiation and surgery and side affects. And its just not right that she was punished for my getting breast cancer !!!!! I LOVE YOU with ALL MY HEART AND SOUL baby girl!!!! And I AM VERY PROUD TO SAY THAT YOU NOW HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE!!!! 💗💋❤️💕 It pays to never stop fighting and never give up......... No matter how long the struggle !!!!
