As most of you know, Im not a big Obama fan, and traditionally I often side somewhat conservatively on most political issues. Im usually in some-sort of agreement with most of the conservative news hosts opinions on things, stuff & whatever,...however, For Sure Not Always, just probably more often than not. Well I know President Obama has recently been criticized by the right for setting time aside to be interviewed by a few YouTube sensations, yet hasnt set time aside for certain heads-of-state, that are viewed to be much more important or deserving of his time. I initially agreed. Though after watching the interviews, I kinda had a different perspective. Of coarse I didnt necessarily agree with everything, however I did see these interviews as productive and worthy of his time. Many of our youth are not engaged with our political system, nor have any interest, and are definitely lacking in historical understanding and wisdom. (Not entirely their fault), different times to say the least. Anyway, to get back on subject, I think overall this concept of interviewing with popular YouTubers was a good idea. It could help get younger people more involved in the political process. And to be honest, it helped me to see, that though I disagree with many of the policies of this current administrations, I do believe ultimately their intentions are good,...just misguided. Im quite sure after viewing this, Mr. Pres. Obama is not an intentionally bad or evil villain,...he just has a different agenda. Let the Best Politician Win. GET INVOLVED!!
