As most of you would know, I have been working in a contract role as a media assistant with the Moonee Valley Racing Club in the lead up to the Cox Plate Carnival. Saturdays Cox Plate race meeting was my final day working with the club as a casual staff member, but the MVRC certainly hasnt lost me as I am a member and rarely miss the races there. The racing industry is full of so many different and interesting people, many of whom I have come into contact with during the last four months while working for MVRC. If any of my racing friends and contacts on here know of any media/communications going within the racing industry, please let me know via private message on here. Racing and netball, along with football (AFL/VFL) are three of my passions and I have been lucky enough to have worked in some capacity in all three. Good things come to those who wait.
