As of 20:30 (8:30p) the Level 2 Snow Energency remains in effect for Williams County. The roads are slippery and snow covered but mostly passable. Excessive speed has been the major factor for the few slide offs experienced this evening. After midnight it is possible that rapidly decreasing temperatures and snow will become a problem for everyone. The Snow Emergency level will be evaluated if/as the weather deteriorates. Allow extra time to reach your destination. Prepare for the bitter cold by keeping your fuel level topped off, have plenty of layered clothing available, keep blankets in your vehicle and have a fully cahrged cell phone. Be safe and use good judgment!
