As of now, India has considerable advantage in providing IT services for other countries including the US and Europe. Indians are working in the middle east and repatriating foreign currency and is doing good to a considerable extent in controlling Indias foreign currency deficit called CAD: the deficit or payments excess over receivables. And Indian manufacture is in real doldrums and no other country is eager to buy Indian manufactures and the countrys forte textiles including garments are persistently declining in their appeal as against those of other countries. Under these circumstances we are witnessing steady proportional decline in Indias agriculture and industry; this is not absolute decline and service sector incomes and activities are increasing proportionately as well as absolutely. Or, service sector perhaps is the only relieving hope for India. We can possibly export manpower and any perceptible success and augmentation in this can be lasting and credible only if the quality of Indian manpower witnesses a sea qualitative and diversified improvement in the years to come. This quality improvement can occur only if we gird up our loins and begin improving our education and training of all kinds right from our primary level and all across ITI education. polytechnics, general education, linguistic ability education, engineering and medical education, scientific research and so on. These institutions from the grass roots level have to improve really, not merely issue certificates, in their service delivery to all sections of the Indian people. Employing personnel from certain sections preferentially to these training institutions as teachers or trainers will have to be much less important than achieving supra minimal quality in training or the quality of training for youth from all sections. This vastly improved training will contribute to increased acceptability of Indias manpower in the country as well as in the US and other countries. This is otherwise famously called taking advantage of Indias demographic advantage. This is the way for development in India. Jai Hind!
