As parents our goal is to have our children grow up and become self sufficient, productive, members of society. However, at the end of the day - no matter how proud or happy we are, when our babies are ready to fly .. it is so hard to watch them take that first major leap. My youngest told me today (after I told him I was getting some phone accessories) he told me no, he said he would get it, he just needed to save a little money. He then told me that he was too old for me to be taking care of him financially. He said he needed to pay his own way. (Sniffles) I know it is a wonderful thing and I am truly proud, but my babies will always be my babies. I dont know any other way to be.
