As part of a nationwide sweep with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and 14 other states, two #LongIsland businesses and their owner now face litigation by my office for running a fraudulent #MortgageRescue scam, using radio ads, a website and live sales pitches to lure struggling homeowners into paying large upfront fees but failing to fulfill promises to help them avoid foreclosure.
