As people with imaginations, we tend to skip over hours, days, months and years trying to imagine what our futures will be like. We ask GOD for things, new situations and new people to enter our lives and we wait for HIS answer, but the WORD tells us that HIS promises are Yea and Amen. GOD tends to us in moments. We ask for something and HE opens a new door for us; one where we are met by things, situations and people we dont understand. Because we dont understand them, many of us run back to what we know, and from there we cry out and ask HIM where is that thing, person or situation weve been praying for. Its behind that new door...the one you keep closing. You were just passing through that uncomfortable situation to get you to your answered prayer. You were just introduced to those strange people, but they are only there to prepare you for an even stranger you and a stranger people. And as for those things that met you, they were seeds waiting to be sown, strongholds waiting to be uprooted or sometimes, they are the enemys attempt to offer you a settlement. How do you know which situation is right? Remember this: The familiar is never the right way; its the peculiar way that you should be heading in. After all, new things, situation and people are only found in places you havent been before.
