As per my view. As I had mentioned in my 27/8 time @ 12.26 and on 28/8 time @ 14.11 about MAS. I had also proposed myself to lead the MAS if the chance are given to me. To organize an huge organization like MAS one must have courage, abilities, productive, self confidence, motivated and talent. The body to expand or impend all depends on the entire ability of the leadership. An huge body can be bankrupt or to be profitable also depends on the leadership. The same to an small entrepreneur to developed and become an huge organization also the leadership. To be head to lead MAS must really dedicated and sincere as well as honest to himself and to the carrier in particular. I had vast experience in running my own business organization even it is not an multi billions ringgit organization. To run a multi millions or billions it still goes under administration. Past my 42 years in business experience I had seen various Government, semi Government and private sectors ups and downs. MAS is our National carrier and we must put it upright and earned back the lost pride. Earlier MAS had made good profits and why not now? MAS have a rival and it is making very good profits and going more greater year by year and why not MAS? The rival is earning by itself to extend or to purchase their planes and why not MAS? MAS established in 1972 but the rival only was established later and they are running tremendously and mantaining from their own income and why not MAS? It is really a great shame to MAS as senior gone down by losses but the rival is profiting and never depend on injection to funds but, MAS all the time had to be injected after losses, why? If this kind of situations is going to go on and, there will be no end and I am afraid will become an history. One is to lead MAS must have very good talents and not just appointing for glamour some VIPs to organize. It is not that way. One to be a true leader in any fields must have the full working spirit and have to sacrifice his time and energy and also must take care as their own property and not for name sake take the post but, never go to the field and just sit in the office and signing the incoming documents by the advice of his special officers. One must go to grassroots and view the the movements of entire departments and this appointed glamour head will be reluctant to do that, afraid that his status might drop. And not just relax in the golf club or living lavishly just because you are the head and nobody to comment you, and with this kind of leaderships the company definitely will fail and the same goes to MAS if you compared to its rival. It is lucky that MAS is our National carrier and the Government injecting funds whenever it losses and this is not called real business administrator. Why too many Government businesses are went in losses because you dont have a really business minded person. Real business man wil make multiple and not subtract. The fund injected RM 6 billions, I really think it is too much and how sure you can earned back that by multiple in the future? I have my ten strategies to upgrade and put it upright with healthier and cleaner MAS to emerge. I cant reveal it now unless I had been given a chance to organize it. What I am afraid that the Government will appoint some glamour VIPs to head the MAS again then after few years he will comeback and claim losses incurred by MAS then the Government will inject some billions and there will no end for it. I love MAS since 1972 as it is my countrys National carrier and only as alternative I will fly with other companies but not with MAS rival at all. The CEO of the rival company boasting that MAS had very weak leadership and MAS cant be strong as them and is it not a shame to hear? We must take their challenges and not by failing to take their challenges that is the beauty of an leadership. We must not be coward instead we must be bold to face it by gaining the interest of the passengers towards MAS and not otherwise. This year MAS should had made multiple profits but due to two tragedies it losses to high involvement of cash flow. But this is unexpected incidents and nobody wants it and we also cannot blame the present CEO for what had occurred. If I had given a chance I will do it in my style as how I had build other corporations. Duty, Dignity, Discipline and Dedication.
