Do your damn job Mike Eckfort and pals. Just heard you on radio with a caller named Paul who dared question the authenticity of narrated events surrounding these alleged beheading videos and you replied that you do not watch beheading videos. Well, you can take 42 seconds out of your paycheck and dedicate it to watching this one, because just like the other ones before it, it shows no such thing. It takes 42 seconds to learn that the video, like the ones released prior, shows nothing; but you arent interested in finding out that nothing happens in these videos. Why is that? Are you merely paid to entertain us without knowing the facts about a subject, or do you have some sort of obligation as a radio host to at least inform yourself about the authenticity of what these tapes purportedly show before you pick up a mic and start speaking as if you are operating from any basis of fact. You BELIEVE that the video shows a beheading because you were told that it does and you believe what you were told. People like your caller request a bit more before they start spitting facts (and those people arent even paid to know things, like you are - they just care enough to know for free). You cant even take 42 seconds while youre on the clock to start to learn anything that goes against your unshakeable belief that these videos are gruesome and sick and actually show the beheading of someone. They show nothing. And since there are NO beheadings shown in ANY of these videos released by Jihadi John, yet you say there are, one wonders what exactly it is that youre actually paid to do. Certainly its not to start digging up facts. That would require an initial effort of 42 seconds; a price too high to pay for a mainstream talk host these days.
