As promised here are the new submissions - TopicsExpress

As promised here are the new submissions guidelines. Submissions Guidelines: At the all new Altered Visions, were attempting a new approach for fanfic. Generally speaking there will be a limited Publishing Year where our sites goal is to be realized, utilizing a wordpress format there is no limit to how many times a writer can submit an update to their story, would you want to push 12 full issues? Would you like to put out scenes at a time within the staggered release dates? This is up to you, the individual writer. Now. Here comes a twist to what were accustomed. In order to publish the best stories possible, we are instituting a peer review process. In order to be scheduled for release, each submission must be read by and approved by two editor status users of the wordpress site. Once the submission goes through this new editorial process, the submission will be scheduled within a future phased release. At this time, we are unsure the number of releases for each month or what day. In one paragraph summarize your goals for this story, how will you accomplish what you want between your start and next April. Brevity is your friend, were going to work within the K.I.S.S. method, keeping it simple, but were looking for more than 5 sentences to summarize your goals and what you hope to accomplish. Second, what characters are you looking to hold down? Which do you need specifically dibbed, what characters are guests or appearances. What were not looking for is a list of names here, what we want to see is a three sentence role for each character within your story. If this characters role is to be a main, how will this story affect that character? Were looking to spread our horizons here, as much fun as our hobby can be, we can find ourselves in a rut telling the same stories over and again. Lets reach for the stars, lets be different. Things to be aware: Participation is a must in this project. We will be scheduling writers summits on a monthly basis. A writer does not need to attend each scheduled event, however, pending some sort of real life obstacle plan on attending at least 1 a quarter, as a requirement to stay abreast of the moving environment in this world. Volunteerism is greatly appreciated. We do not want our process to be some faceless factory upload, just as we participate in the writers summits, the Peer Review is just that, a Peer Review where honest feedback is encouraged and requested. By submitting your words to our site, you are open to constructive criticism (both good and bad) and by building your proposal you accept these terms of membership. Your story may be rejected. Thats just how things work, its nothing personal or meant with malice, your story may not fit in the parameters of our goals, and we encourage you to engage in discourse with us to find something that works that excites you to write. There is a forfeiture period. Upon a later decision, we will establish a record of updates that will be a baseline. If a writer misses (dependent upon life of course) the baseline number of scheduled updates without a submission (not including rejections from the peer review process) the writer will be notified of the forfeiture of all dibs, without communication or a submission within a specific time frame, you acknowledge the story has been abandoned.
