As some of you know our Halloween pic went viral on Twitter and millions and millions of people have seen it, retweeted it and commented on it. Although the response to our pic has been 90% positive and people appreciate it for what it is..parents making sweet memories with their kids, there is that 10% of...well basically Im just going to say it...assholes. You know the type...a person who reacts without a conscience and enjoys throwing their nasty words out there without any care or thought of how it could hurt others. Whatever..haters gonna hate..right. But Im disappointed that we live in a world where that phrase had to be created to explain peoples natural reaction to others. I want a world where it is instinctual to be positive and people want to lift others up with kind words instead of break them down with hate. Honestly, the comments dont bother me at all but it did make me think about all the millions of kids today that are subjected to those quick one-liners consisting of 140 characters of hate. I pray that my children will be so full of love and confidence that no hate will penetrate their strong faith. I pray that they will lead using their strong moral convictions of love and faith and not yield to the hate that they will be exposed to, but actually go against it, fight it and spread their faith and love.
