As someone who grew up with the internet (quite literally), uses it every day (from school to hobbies), and aspires to some day work for internet only companies in a future career Net Neutrality is kinda a really big deal. You can watch this video, or I thought Tumblr broke it down quite nicely: The FCC is on the verge of allowing internet service providers (like the one youre using right now) to build fast lanes for sites that can pay for them, leaving everyone else in the slow lane. This would be disastrous for anyone who uses the internet. Luckily, you can do something about it. You can urge the FCC to establish rules for the internet that dont discriminate by class—and ask your U.S. senator to do the same. It will take you less than 5 minutes to fill out a letter to the FCC at dearfcc.org Please do, the internet is the only real place where you can decide what entertainment you consume and create, and itd be really cool if we could keep it like that
