As someone who has suffered from isolating Depression in the past, I have had a glimpse into what a world without communication can feel like. However that experience, as painful as it was, pales in comparison to what this 15 year old boy has gone through for his entire life. For those who know me, you know that I absolutely love conversation. This piece really touched my heart, and Im incredibly glad to see that there are those out there who are trying to bring people like Patrick into the world of communication.
