As soon as we arrived to our church family pool BBQ potluck yesterday, Peyton, like any child would, ran straight to the pool. She was about to jump in the deep end as I chased after her with her swim fins in hand. She insisted she didnt need them. I told her yes you do, you cant swim without your fins!! I continued to insist she cant as she continued to insist she can. So finally I said okay, but as she was about to jump in, I hesitated and stopped her again, to wait until I could get in the water first, just in case she needed me. To my complete surprise, she was right, she didnt need her fins afterall!! She even swam from one end of the pool to the other end, the long way. Proud mama.
