As team captain for the #walkforchristie, I’ve been nominated to take the ALS #icebucketchallenge by Michy Fonts-Gemmell and Christine Shields. Today, I’m taking that challenge here in Toronto thanks to Pat Quinn and those who have challenged me. Thanks to the many special people of the Hudson Valley NY ALS Walk and a special thank you and shout out to the #walkforchristie team for being the top Hudson Valley Walk fundraising team in 2012 and 2013. In order to achieve this goal again on Sunday, October 19, 2014, I am asking each and every member of the #walkforchristie to take this challenge and in addition I am asking the Arlington High School Soccer Team and the University of Hartford Hawks to participate in this challenge in support of Christie Ong Rizzuto an alumn of the schools and a dear friend who is leading us all forward in the battle against this disease.
