As the 2014 campaign enters its final hours, I want to thank my friends and supporters for all your efforts in this campaign and for standing with me over the years. It means a great deal to know that I have outstanding Americans like you on my side. While your strong support makes me confident going into tomorrow’s election, one thing I have learned in politics is that no race can be taken for granted. So I am personally asking you to vote for me tomorrow and also to reach out to your friends and neighbors and ask them to vote for me as well. I want to be reelected so that I can continue to be a leader in the fight against international terrorism, support a strong national defense and be an independent voice for the hard-working middle income families who are the heart and soul of our Long Island communities. I won’t let you down. I am also taking this opportunity to ask you to support Bruce Blakeman who is running for Congress in the 4th Congressional district. Bruce is a good friend and extremely well qualified to represent Long Island in Congress. In two other key races for open seats in the New York State Senate, I strongly endorse Michael Venditto running in the 8th Senate district and Tom Croci running in the 3rd district. Again my thanks for being there for me.
