As the 40 yr MHS class reunion nears I am having the sweet experience of reconnecting with those whose friendships have had profound impact upon me but who have since gone on to live their lives (and I mine). As we reconnect I feel a grounding that is comforting and i am reminded of how each of them has aided me along my journey and I feel grateful. They were there when i needed them and their continued friendship over decades is humbling.
