As the UGSS continues to be instrumental in tending to students welfare, the following agreement has been met with the Minibus Association for the UG Route: 2. The provision of a bus service to and from Georgetown; and to the East Coast. 3. Conditions (UMBA) (i) Guaranteed bus service from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. between Georgetown and Turkeyen and the provision of a service between Turkeyen and the East Coast from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., except during period to be stipulated by the University. (ii) Regulating of the fare in conjunction with the University Administration, in keeping with the trend across the industry. (iii) Payment of a monthly fee or a fee for each trip by each registered bus (iv) Registration and marking of buses covered by the agreement (v) Uniforming of the drivers and conductors (vi) Adherence to a Code of Conduct. (vii) Maintenance of the buses at an acceptable standard. (UG) (i) Restrict other buses from entering the premises to offer the service. (ii) Maintain the roads and turnpike. (iii) Communicate with the providers in a timely manner in relation to peak periods and low periods. (iv) Regulating the internal arrangement for the services.
