As the state budget heads to conference committee and the General Assembly prepares to begin its final weeks in Raleigh, now is not the time to ease off our legislators. SEANC lobbyists are continuing to work with lawmakers to ensure state employees and retirees keep and even improve the gains made in the House budget in terms of salary, COLA and bonus leave.
