As the three amigos make their way to Scotland times for some home truths and how the Scottish people may view their proclaimed love for the nation. The campaign is now more than two years old, Cameron entered the process with the First Minister with The Edinburgh Agreement. Nothing sneaked up on Westminster, the government or David Cameron. Proclaiming it was solely a matter for the Scottish people to decide and inappropriate to interfere with Scotlands constitutional matter. He slammed the First Minster for waving flags at London sports events. Cheap political stunts, disrespectful and again inappropriate.Yet today what flys above 10 Downing Street? Who marches north to bribe the restless natives? No new powers where to be given to Scotland. Devo-Max was framed as Independence by the back door. All of a sudden London and the elite have had to break the news to the rest of the UK that despite attempts to distort, hide and manipulate polling over the last two years, Scotland looks is likely to vote YES. Panic has ensued, the sky will fall down, empires will crumble and the whaling and gnashing of teeth in London can be heard in Lossiemouth. Over the last couple of years Scots have looked at the issues, first Westminster laughed with the tone of a wee boy being mocked in the school yard. There is no way Scotland can financially sustain a benefit ridden culture, Scotland is a subsidy junky. Figures where examined, the Treasurys own GERS data studied. Since then It is has been conceded that Scotland is a net contributor to the UK and would infect become a small wealthy nation. https://youtube/watch?v=1W8cKHcZn60 Procedural barriers were erected, technocratic nonsense and gibberish were used to convince the that it really wasnt worth the effort, conveniently forgetting that anything worth achieving in life requires some degree of effort and will to overcome obstacles and overcome. And they shall be because there is the will. Isnt this a message we teach kids? So threats where forth coming, the Union was seen to be less of a partnership and more of a sentence to be served. Sterling referred to as Englands pound,their will be no currency Union. Nobody bought this threat, financial markets, economists and analysts understood that there will be agreement on a Sterling zone. What kind of independence is that when any monetary union holds the balance of power? Does Germany, France and the Netherlands not think they are fully sovereign nations cos after all they are in a pretty big monetary Union themselves. Various lies, deceptions and media horror stories have come and went, some miraculously rise from the dead again. Pensions would not be paid, terrorists would lay siege to the Oil rigs, Russia was posed to move into Scottish waters without the protection of the early warning capability of the Nimrods or the Royal Navy that patrol Scottish waters. The Nimrods are no longer in Scotland, there is no longer RAF early warning presence in Scotland and not a single Royal Navy surface vessel based in Scottish waters, what security we asked. Folk looked closer to home and at the deeds and actions of Westminster versus those of Holyrood and the Scottish government. Westminster carpet baggers continue to hawk and sell valued public entities, the Post Office and the NHS are being dismantled. Education is getting more exclusive and expensive south of the border. Despite the best efforts of Westminster and the Treasury the Scottish government has protect NHS Scotland, offered help for mums, dads and children in need of day care. Tuition fees for further education are still paid ensuring a quality education for all not dependent on financial muscle. Prescription charges have remain affordable, senior citizens enjoy special travel consideration and all while by balancing the books. Meanwhile the Treasury and various Chancellors in London struggle to service the 1.5 trillion national debt. Scots align themselves with the deeds and actions in Edinburgh not London. Yet here Cameron, Clegg and Milliband come. There are some very smart scholars, able politicians and learned academics on the Better Together campaign but still two years on nobody, not a single one, has been able to sustain a positive message for Scotland in the Union. Think of that for a second, two years of some of the best brains and thinkers in the UK and not a single positive case for the status quo. That is pretty damning. Two years on we have a unique opportunity here to act with complete clarity and confidence in making a decision for the betterment of the nation. No longer does one need to make a choice between the head and the heart because both tell us that Independence is the correct course to chart for Scotland. Your head has seen the presentations, the figures and data and you heart has seen the proliferation of food banks and poverty within the nation. The people who say…ach weel, better the devil you know or I canna be bothered are beat down, they have already been defeated by a system that has continually failed them for generations, all hope is lost, this should be as clear saying YES on the 18th, cos a different Scotland is possible.
