As this message is being posted, your “former” Speaker of the Arizona House, Andy Tobin, has been unseated from his chair. In his place is a Republican imposter who is leading all Democrats and 9 Republican turncoats in a late night session, at the bequest of Jan Brewer, in the passage of Obamacare as the law of the land in the state of Arizona. Obamacare in Arizona. How did this happen? Right now, as this email is being drafted and sent, the new Obama caucus is voting on 50+ amendments to our 2013 state budget that will add billions in spending by this legislature under a suspension of the rules, without vetting by appropriate committees, in the dark of night. Many of these amendments are not related to Obamacare. But, given that this Obama caucus has formed and unleashed itself on the House floor, they are pushing thru spending items that would shock any good conservative Tea Party member. Who are these 9 Republican turncoats? Let’s start with our local Northwest Tucson fiscal traitor, ETHAN ORR. Ethan Orr, who within days of assuming his seat in our state legislature joined with big spender (D)Steve Farley to co-sponsor several progressive spending bills. The actions of this caucus, championed by Ethan Orr, will burden the taxpayers of Arizona with $20 billion dollars in new spending, by 2020, NOT SUPPORTED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! Can you even comprehend this? Ethan Orr is followed by TJ Shope, Frank Pratt, Doris Goodale, Doug Coleman, Kate Brophy Mcgee, Jeff Dial, Heather Carter, and Bob Robson. This Obama caucus is adding 654 pages to the state budget draft this very day. You will have to read the bill, to know what’s in the bill. Sound familiar? What can we do? We can exercise “The Peoples Veto”. Our “good friends”, Christine Bauserman, Frank Antenori, and Ron Gould have formed a grassroots group the United Republican Alliance of Principled Conservatives (urapc.org). This group will be quickly beginning a statewide grassroots campaign to obtain a total of 120,000 petition signatures to stop the implementation of Obamacare in Arizona. When the required petition signatures are obtained to put the question of Obamacare on a ballot initiative, Obamacare will be FROZEN until the ballot initiative is voted on. Your Tucson Tea Party supports this. They need our help gathering signatures. They need your help gathering signatures. They really need your help gathering signatures.
