As this week comes to a close, Im compelled to share a great big THANK YOU to the entire MAPs community! As one of the admins on the Facebook page, I had a front-row seat to much of whats been going on as the the new payment processor was launched and all I can say is WOW! And I dont mean wow about the processor...thats another story...instead, I mean wow about all of you! What I saw was people all over the world helping people...regardless of teams, languages, or rank. New people were helping veterans...a guy from Serbia was blocked just because his country is on the banned list, but the community came together to help him out...others learned that spaces matter to VX, and Drive cant be abbreviated as Dr. Countless other people found their page wasnt available, but Richard Arblaster, Nick Darlington and others figured out that we just needed to move virtually to Alaska and all would be well. Then out of the blue, Mark T Morse pops up with a parka on his head sarcastically hoping we can all move to a warmer climate instead of Alaska in a perfectly-timed effort to lighten the mood. You guys were feeding us updates, we were feeding them to support, and support was interacting with the programmers. All the while, Michael Deese, Lynne Booth and Tony Booth were pulling their hair out and not sleeping trying to figure what was happening and how to fix it. And of course, through it all, our fearless sales leader Simon Stepsys was exhorting everyone to just BUY MORE! And never once did I hear or see one single complaint, gripe or grumble. Guys, Ive been in a more than a few rodeos over the years, but Id put this community at the very top of the list in terms of positive attitude, and a can-do, get er done, lets win this thing spirit. When you couple this group with the program that Mike has put together, add in the new server and VX Gateway, I shudder to think what this will become. History is being made here, and were all part of it. Thanks all, and have a great Easter!
