As this year comes to a close, many of us reflect on the gains and losses. I was fortunate enough to gain a granddaughter. Shes a beautiful, active baby who makes our hearts happy. My sister, Alicia, also enjoyed welcoming a new grandchild! Yet, this year had seen incredible loss, unexpected, devastating, and painful. Yet, we do have an incredible hope which makes it possible to keep going with a positive outlook and comfort. We should all take a breath to count the positive or relatively positive aspects of our lives and reflect on the not so positive, looking forward to being thankful daily for those weve known who affected us, loved us, and been there for us, or not. We learn from all. Gains and losses are a part of this world! Lets try to be a force for good and love, not just at the beginning of the year, but every minute, of every day of every year! Lets not wait for a holiday or an event to say, I love you!
