As this year draws to a close Im reflecting on the things I am grateful for. First, my children. Luke, I am so proud of the man you have become. You are an amazing human being and I love that you think about me and what I may need. Haley, I couldnt ask for a better extra daughter. You are a joy and I love the way you are bringing my fabulous grandson up. I am so glad you are a part of my family. Zakk, you are my joy, my world. I can be feeling really down but your Hi Ma can make everything better. Sam, you struggle with your life but youre still standing. I admire your tenacity. You get knocked down, but you get up again time after time. I love this in you. Never change your personality, because you rock. Scott, sometimes I think youll be the death of me but then your humanity rises to the surface. Your ability to bring out the best in others is a treasure. Tracey, youve walked a long hard road but you made it. Im really looking forward to getting to know you better and bringing you into my circle of people. youve struggled so hard, but here you are, standing. good for you Karlee, watching you open and grow is such a joy. I know you find emotions difficult and I am honoured to be included in your life. Hang in there sweet. Its going to be OK. Kaylah, you are so bouncy and full of life, it is wonderful to behold. I love that you call me Grandma with such joy and abandon and I look forward to being someone you can trust. Rosy, you are my best friend. I treasure you and your wisdom more than youll ever know. You mean the world to me and your words have seen me through numerous hard times. I trust you probably more than any human being on the planet. Kathryn, you are a truly amazing human being. I love your humour, your sense of how things are. You are the most alternative of all my children, and I love this about you. You are an original. I wish amazing things for you. Steven, you are my life. you are everything to me, everything. When times are dark you are there. when times are light, you are there, you are my balance. Sometimes you make me crazy. but I wouldnt be without you for anything. you are the best thing that ever happened in my life. I am grateful that I have a roof over my head and food on my table. I am grateful that I have access to medical help. I am grateful that I have amazing friends. I am grateful that I have people on the internet that Ive never met, but are there for me. I am grateful that I can craft. I am grateful that Im alive to experience all of the things that I do I am very, very grateful that I am so incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful things in my life
