As triathletes we tend to be very driven to achieve our goals, but sometimes we forget to stop and see what we have accomplished, instead we only focus on how far we have yet to go. It is just this way of thinking that leads to burnout and ultimately a failure to achieve our long term goals. So no matter what you do whether work, triathlon, dropping weight, or running your first 5k remember take some time to reflect on how far you have come because mountains are not as big when you have already climbed half way up.
