As we acknowledge Breast Cancer Awarness this month, I would like to take this moment in remembrance of my mom who was diagnosed at the age of 33 and died at the age of 35. She passed away Jan 7, 1981 when I was eleven years old and I remember not knowing how sick she was until she died. It was a shock to me because she would go into the hospital and always come back home, until that last visit when she didnt. I know she died knowing her girls age 4, 11, and 14 were loved dearly by her and that we loved her too.
