As we all know, the universe is chock full o riveting mysteries and unanswerable questions. It is a profound and defining characteristic of human experience that we not only have the capability, but more remarkably, have the propensity to ask questions that may guide our experience to a more enlightened state. I find it intriguing, to say the least, that asking a question that cannot be answered tends to yield more insight than asking a question with the expectation of an imminent and rational answer. What flavors of pie will the farm stand be offering today? Moreover, are we alone in the universe? If there exists life elsewhere in the universe, what flavors of pie do they have to offer? It is the questions themselves – the mysteries and the enigmas of our reality – that provide us with the perpetual wonder, the prospect of progress, the potential to transcend, and the prodigious sense of being. So to you, my friends, I ask: What is your favorite mystery of reality? What question makes your imagination throb with intensity? What inquiry into the nature of nature stirs within you a feeling not suitable for words?
