As we bring 2014 to a close, I would like to say thank you to all the mothers and families that I had the privilege of serving! I had the honor of assisting 54 mothers in bringing another beautiful life to the world! In those 54 births, 19 were home births, 31 were birth center births. Out of the 54, 3 were c-sections. 2 of them where mothers who chose surgery and 1 because it was medically necessary. All babies were born happy and healthy! Thats a 5.56% c-section rate and only 1.85% when you count only the medically necessary c-section! Those are great numbers. 2015 already has 30 moms scheduled to deliver with us and the year hasnt even started yet! Looking forward to watching families grow!!!
