As we come upon the dawn of the 238th anniversary of the signing of The Declaration of Independence and the founding of The United States of America lets all remember why we celebrate this holiday. It is because 238 years ago 13 colonies under oppression from the British government decided that they had had enough. I ask you today to think on this ideal and ask yourself, are we so different now than we were then? We are slowly being oppressed by a government that wishes to take very one of our civil liberties away. I ask you my friends, when are you going to say that you have had enough. I feel like this rendition of our national anthem represents how we, or at least I, feel. Proud, aggressive, and passionate. In closing my friends I wish you all a happy and safe Independence Day. May God that we still trust in bless this nation.
