As we get ready for our final day of Mission Goldsboro 2014, heres an awesome reminder of why we do what we do! Favorite Friday Mission Goldsboro story: I went to church tonight to clean up the VBS supplies. When leaving, a Pikeville employee pulled in to thank us for the meal we provided to the town today. He proceeded to tell me that he has been having a really hard time the last three weeks and has found himself in a tight financial situation. After being super careful with his money recently, he had decided to reward himself by getting lunch at CJs Diner today. When he got to work, the Chief of Police told him that our church was providing lunch. So, we saved him from spending his money and he said the lunch was much better than what he wouldve paid for anyway! - Amy Stamper
