As we head to sleep in the room tonight with Meghan, I cant help but think in just a just a few hours it will mark one year since Meghan and our families lives were changed forever with absolutely shocking news. Meghan was diagnosed with 2 brain tumors. Meghan has taken her task at hand with a never give up attitude. She has been very positive after so many road trips, doctors and numerous stays in the hospitals with endless tests. She has done a tremendous job retaining knowledge of her tumors and staying in tune with her medications, thats not an easy task. Her daily struggles continue with headaches, numbness on her left side, writing difficulty and poor vision along with sporadic bouts with her memory, and lost time. Everyday is a challenge but she does the best she can. As far as our immediate family theres never an hour that passes that shes not on our mind. We have good and bad days as we cope with daily tasks that most of the time seem difficult to tackle. It seems when something goes wrong its much more difficult to make right. It falls on the uncertainty that comes with Meghans illness. We try to live hour by hour but its hard not to think what Meghans future holds 5 or 10 years down the road. One thing is for certain our family has been there from day one and we are very fortunate to have them for their love, support and help. Thank you all for that. We must not forget our extended family, friends, co -workers, church and all of Meghans Facebook supporters ( many whom we never met). I dont know where we would be without the love and support from you. Ironically enough we are in the same spot we were one year ago today ( the hospital). WOW! Seems like yesterday but also seems like a lifetime. We will continue our efforts to allow Meghan to fight no matter what it takes. Thank you all for the support the past year as you have been a big part of our family. God bless you and Meghan as she has sincerely touched many lives with her positive attitude and big smile. We couldnt be more proud of her and love her anymore then we do. Have a good night. The Czerwinskis.
