As we look back at 2014, we have a lot to celebrate. 2014 was an incredibly successful year for supporters of free enterprise. We started the year with a goal of reasserting leadership in Congress and electing candidates who will focus on getting our economy back on track by stopping government overreach and passing pro-growth policies. Thanks to your support, that message was heard in states across the country on Election Day. We’ll start the New Year with new leadership in the Senate and the largest pro-business majority in the House since 1928. But these historic results will only make a difference if we seize the opportunity to enact an agenda that will prioritize growth, job creation, and economic prosperity. 2015 is the year to address the serious challenges facing our nation and to pass meaningful legislation that unleashes the power of free enterprise system. This grassroots network will play a critical role in holding Congress and the Obama Administration accountable. Our records show that you’ve been a part of our network since January 2009, but have yet to tell us what issues matter to you. Which issue should our leaders in Washington tackle first in the New Year? Please take a minute to record your response below: Happy holidays from the U.S. Chamber! What should Washington address first in the New Year? Fix the Obamacare mess Reform our complex and outdated tax code Immigration Approve the Keystone XL Pipeline Rein in the EPA Reform the regulatory process We look forward to working with you in the year ahead. Happy Holidays to you and your family, Rob Engstrom SVP and National Political Director U.S. Chamber of Commerce
