As we recover from the weekend, we are reflecting. Floods of emails have come in congratulating and praising us, but in our minds our riders are the heroes. Your participation allows us the privilege of creating and hosting these races that highlight our home. We love the eclectic group of riders we have from 15 to 73, from throughout the US and Canada, from pure roadies to mountain bikers to tandem and single speed, from racer to rider. The one common thing that unites us is the love of the bike. Thats what makes unsanctioned gravel racing amazing. For the 2015 Rasputitsa, we want to make it known that we are not leaving our home. Burke is the home of Heidis family. My father, the infamous broomwagon driver, lives alongside the Kingdom Trails. We also chose this neck of the woods because of the huge support from Kingdom Trails and the fact that we are very aligned in our missions to provide an amazing experience for cyclists. The 2015 Dirty 40 will return to Derby on Labor Day weekend. Same course! And we have heard the feedback and will work to offer more feedzones, more nutrition, more water, and more portalets. Thanks riders for spending the weekend with us. We hope to cross paths with all of you again!
