As we start this new year, I cant help but think how amazing my friends are. Vicki Villarreal is very close to finishing her 2nd 100 miler. Clara Paniagua has finished her 1st 100 miler. And Denise Whitsett is almost done her first 100 miler. These women inspire me in a regular basis without the epic adventure they have been on the last 2 days. They are all 3 the most positive and encouraging women I know. I am so proud of them. My other crazy friend, Georgina, Ivy, Stacey, Arnie, Kelli, Tierra, Christopher, Sylvia, and Kim, have been running a continuous 55 hour relay. They could have stopped the first night when their team hit 100 miles, but they ate all going strong and are in 2nd place. All of this for children with cancer. What a wonderful reason to run.
