As we teeter on the verge of breaking through the 18,000 mark, - TopicsExpress

As we teeter on the verge of breaking through the 18,000 mark, with 17,099 soldiers, I just want to thank everyone for being a part of this page and supporting what BBSU is all about. Whether you have recently joined or have been here since the very beginning, I just want you to know that I appreciate you and your support. Many of you have been here since the beginning, most of you have been here quite a while, and more and more of you keep joining, every day. Though I am very pleased with the success this page is having, I know that we still have a long way to go, to get the kind of strength in numbers we will need, to win the war for Bully Breed life. So, I will continue to soldier on and just keep doing what I do, and we will get there, eventually. But, until that day comes, we must know that every battle is worth the fight, every victory will be well earned, and every defeat will be a lesson learned, which we will use it to even further fuel our fire. And we will do this, because every defeat means more loss of life, whether it be one or many, so we have to use that to drive us, even harder, and with more tenacity. We are facing an uphill battle, this we know, so we cannot expect it to be easy or quick. No, it is not easy, so we have to be strong, tenacious, driven, dedicated, and prepared for the long haul. Every obstacle that stands in front of us is a tough one, whether it be BSL, dog fighting, public fear and ignorance, abuse, neglect, over population or cops shooting family dogs. But, every obstacle is able to be overcome, if we are tenacious enough and never give up. Will we be able to put an end to all dog fighting? No, I can’t promise we will. Will we be able to put a complete end to BSL, ignorance, hate and fear? No, I doubt we will. And will we be able to stop every case of abuse, neglect, or dogs being shot? Again, no we will not. But, we have to realize that every life saved is worth every ounce of effort, blood, sweat, and tears it takes to save them. We have to know that we are making a difference and saving many lives along the way. And we have to understand that winning the war does not mean that we have to be perfect and put an absolute end to each and every one of these things. But, we do have to believe and continue to fight, like we can end it all. Personally, I am a soldier who believes that perfection is, virtually, unattainable; yet, I am still tenacious and strive for it, every single day. And that is the attitude we have to have, about this war, if we are ever going to win it. And win we will….win we must, because our beloved Bullies are counting on us to fight for them and win the war for their lives. So, carry on soldiers, keep marching forward, with your chins up and your chests out, never giving up, giving in or backing down. Together we shall stand, as one impenetrable force. So our enemies better lay down or get out of our way, because we will stand and fight this war, one by one, until the war is won. WOOF!
