As with most on this page I am a big fan of Marcos Ambrose and I am excited to see him back in the V8SC championship. I am going to say however that we all know he is a great driver and capable of great things but for the realistic side of things him return to a right hand drive car in a new type of car with sequential shift and different handling characteristics and driving on a concrete canyon track like Homebush should we expect him to be at the front of the field? Lets not put too much pressure and hype on him to be at the pointy end but respect the fact that he is back in Australia racing in a series we love. Sure, I want him to succeed and be up the pointy end fighting for wins etc, but give him a chance to get back in the swing of things again. Im sure Ill get criticized for this but Im sure not as much as he will with what people may classify as a bad result in 15th or lower.
