As you all know I got a new job a few months back and I work in a boarding and grooming facility. With the holidays coming up and the influx of grooming appointments and the huge number of clients who board their dogs and cats during the holidays I am sending out a request to all of my animal love friends. WE NEED THE FOLLOWING: Old towels: bath, beach, hand and wash cloths Old blankets: fleece, wool, cotton, comforters, bed spreads, duvet covers, pillow cases, hospital blankets are really great. NO ELECTRIC BLANKETS please Old bedding: pillows, dogs beds, cat beds, kennel pads Large crates and 2 story cat cages Cat scratchers/cat climbers Dog and Cat toys, gently used are just fine (kongs and ropes for the doggies) (danglers and balls/bells/mice for the kitties) 33 gallon totes no lids needed (can have holes they are used for holding clean laundry) Clothing: Any new or used dog / cat clothing that still has some use, we can donate these to owners who come in and are struggling to keep their pets due to financial burdens. If ANY of you have ANY of these things I WILL COME GET THEM. We are also in desperate need of a free washer and dryer ours has seen much better days and we do about 10 loads of wash every day there to keep the bedding clean for the kennels and the hospital pets. The dryer is on its last legs and takes 3 cycles to dry a load of towels which smell like mold when they do finally get dry, and you dont want to dry a clean pet with a nasty towel. AGAIN, I will make a way to pick up any donations that you have to give. Please pass this along to any of your friends who may have things they dont use any longer.
