As you all know over the past few years my biggest passion has not been booking the biggest modeling campaign or TV show, but to work with the homeless and their pets. Its become a huge part of my life. Yesterday I was asked to help with a homeless man who was sick with a collapsed lung, pneumonia, and diabetic ulcers all over his legs. He has refused any type of medical care due to him being scared of what will happen to his only family member, his dog Bliss. Today I went to go meet them both and surprise him with a new electric wheelchair and a to pay for his next week at a motel. His got so excited that he had to keep taking his inhaler, he could only speak a few words at a time. All he kept saying was There really is such things as angels. He was more excited about the berry lemonade then he was the steak and mashed potatoes...the simple things :) We raised enough money to get him into housing and pay for some medical bills....but hes in dire need of a pace maker. Im asking that you all share his story below far and wide in hopes of reaching someone that can allow Albert to live out whatever time he has left pain free. You never know who the story will reach...Theres gotta be someone out there that can help!
