As you may know, the FROG initiative was officially launched today at the MARRCH Fall Conference. FROG, which stands Fair Reimbursement and Outcomes Group, is a coalition launched by the Minnesota Recovery Community to support an exciting initiative to ensure access to high quality Chemical Dependency and Mental Health care. FROG is made up of advocates from all over Minnesota who are committed to delivering and investing in cost-effective Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. Our mission is to seek Fair Reimbursement for the services we provide. We are being asked to do more with less, faced with increasingly more complex, co-morbid clients. But reimbursement rates have fallen dramatically short of inflation over last two decades (CCDTF rates are over 40% below inflation). This despite that we know what we do works and is deemed cost-effective for by DHS – conservative research estimates a return on investment that exceeds 10:1. A successful FAIR 10% rate increase will help close the widening gap between our CCDTF rates and inflation, and will positively impact everyone! It will expand access to high-quality care to clients who depend on us, and also will help to ensure a vibrant WORKFORCE! But we need you, and our clients need you!!!
