The second week is up and we havent even seen the other side of Ramadan yet, alhamdulilah, by the grace of Allah swt and thanks to all of you weve managed to raise 1,01,500 for the Ramadan Education Project. Were a group of young Muslim girls trying to financially aid some very deserving kids to continue their education, as part of our voluntary community service. Some of them are orphaned or abandoned, others come from the very low income groups, their fathers being painters, carpenters, auto drivers and the like. Rasoolallah sw has promised that none of us will lose by doing charity because Allah swt has promised to multiply the amount we spend for His sake and replace it for us! Weve crossed our target of one lakh, but there are still kids out there who need help so those of you who havent contributed yet, please do! Our project is also eligible for zakah.
