Asalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi Ta’ala wa Barakatahu I pray - TopicsExpress

Asalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi Ta’ala wa Barakatahu I pray that this reaches you in the best of health and highest of Iman. This most holy night has finally donned upon us; the night of power, the night of destiny, the night of Laylatul Qadr. I would like to take the opportunity, as I mentioned in my previous notes, to ask for the forgiveness of this frail, humble servant. If I wronged you, upset you, hurt you, angered you, or fallen short of my duties in giving you your rights. I would like to not only ask for your forgiveness and pardon but also clemency on behalf of ALL those who have wronged you in any way, falling short of their human responsibilities. As humans we are ALL imperfect, frail, and fallible; and we should remember that we have ALL somehow fallen short of our duties and responsibilities towards our fellow man. Clemency and pardon is the greatest gift that we can give one another on this most holy night. Yet more importantly I pray that we use this night in asking for pardon from The Most Merciful of Pardoners for our shortcomings towards Him (swt). Let us open our hearts and reflect on His Mercy and His Majesty. Let us remember how He (swt) never fails us, yet we, always somehow fail him. No amount of gratitude, prayers, nor prostrations can give thanks for His (swt) love. Let us on this night change our destinies by changing our hearts. Let us on this night of power become truly humble with outstretched arms of begging. Let us with our tears remember the oppressed ALL throughout the world. Let us with a bowed head remember that we are truly nothing and He (swt) is everything. Let us tonight, by placing the Qur’an upon our heads, renew our covenant. Let us by prostrating remember where our final abode will be. I ask of each of you, to please, for sake of the Allah swt empty your hearts of greed, hatred, and intolerance. Let us remember that we have ALL been created equal in His (swt) vision. Let us tear down the barriers of segregation, separation and animosity. Let us not judge those who differ. Let us not be indifferent to injustice. Let us not be silent to aggression. Let us remember the greatest teacher of mankind, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), and what he came to perfect; our morals. I pray, from the depths of my heart that we reunite with the Holy Qur’an, renew our love for the Beloved (swt) and once again, begin the internal revolution. A revolution in which we love, respect, accept all those who cross our paths; no matter what they believe in, where they come from, what class they may be, or who they are. May God accept all of our prayers and acts of worship on this most holy month of ramadan. Jazakum Allah Khaiyran Wa Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi Ta’ala wa Barakatahu.
