Ash-Shura [42:37] Those who avoid the greater crimes and shameful deeds, and, when they are angry even then forgive. Al Islam instills in the follower a sense of shame and according to Prophet Mohammed (saw) shame is a branch of faith. Among the tools used by the enemy of man is to bring down the human being by removing the sense of shame. Things that once brought the masses to feel shame no longer causes them any shame. The masses boldly defy the commands of Allah without an inkling of shame. A faithful person must love their Creator so much that when they do anything against His Will and Desire it brings to the follower a sense of shame. By being conscious of our behavior before Allah is how we can avoid greater crimes and shameful deeds. Another great attribute of the faithful is having the ability to forgive even when they are angry. Allah desires that we forgive for if we forgive those in this life Allah will shower His forgiveness upon us in the next life!!
